Class Rules

1. Treat everyone with respect. This includes addressing them with respect (no name calling or labeling), listening to people when they are speaking, etc.
2. Treat all property with respect. Do not touch someone’s backpack or other things even as a joke.
3. Be prepared to work and seated when the bell rings.
4. Do not eat, drink, or chew gum in class.
5. Follow all other school rules.

Requirements

1. All papers must be turned in with proper heading in dark blue or black ink.
2. Do not write on the back of the paper.
3. A penalty will be assessed to all late assignments of one grade per day and not below 50% if the assignment is done well.  Students who have an excused absence will get at least one day for every days they are absent without penalty.  Students are encouraged to turn in all work no matter how late.
4. Students are expected to ask for their make-up work.
5. All students are expected to come prepared for class with paper, required reading materials, history and English journals, and a pen and pencil.
